Through these initiatives, the region aims to expand the production of horticultural crops and establish a model of sustainable agriculture that can serve as an example both within and outside the prefecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the decline in the number of farmers due to aging has become a serious issue, making it necessary to address these challenges through collaboration among related organizations, including private enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Against this backdrop, Aikawa Co., Ltd., a local private company headquartered in the Mizuhashi district, established an agricultural corporation as a joint venture with JA Nanohana to help resolve local challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This agricultural corporation will work in close collaboration with Aikawa Co., Ltd., JA Nanohana, Toyama Prefecture, and Toyama City to systematically expand initiatives focused primarily on vegetable production. (President and Representative Director: Ryo Aikawa, hereinafter \u201cAikawa\u201d) has entered into a partnership with Toyama Prefecture (Governor: Hachiro Nitta), Toyama City (Mayor: Hirohisa Fujii), and Nanohana Agricultural Cooperative (President: Etsuko Tanii, hereinafter \u201cJA Nanohana\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement, dated April 24, 2026, aims to establish a model for sustainable agriculture and regional revitalization through collaboration among private enterprises and related organizations.
